Homiyar Vasania
Founding Partner and Fund ManagerHomiyar is a passionate investor with a deep understanding of businesses built over 25 years. He has developed a robust bottom-up fundamental style of investing which is complemented by a strong understanding of long term macro cycles. His experience through multiple market cycles in Asia has enhanced his skill in identifying opportunities and risks early on in the investment cycle.
Prior to founding River Valley Asset Management, he was one of the senior most members of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Emerging Markets investment team, working with them for over 12 years. Homiyar was one of only two Managing Directors leading a group of investors managing the Asian investments for this team. At his time of leaving, MSIM’s EM team managed USD 25 bln of client assets of which over USD 12 bln. was invested in Asia.
Prior to his roles at Morgan Stanley, Homiyar was a regional technology analyst and part of the regional sales team at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (January 1998 to March 2000) and Head of Research at PPFAS, then one of the top brokerage houses in India (October 1994-December 1997).
Homiyar is a mechanical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. He is a Singapore citizen.

Priyanka Pradhan
Investment AnalystPriyanka brings a set of diverse research and analysis skills to RVAM’s investment team. She has worked at varied investment and research firms in Singapore as well as India and has built robust competence in undertaking fundamental research, creating complex financial models and generating and analysing investment ideas as part of strong investment teams. She has also worked on NAV calculation, credit portfolio analysis, fund raising activities and addressing investor queries as part of some of her prior roles.
As an Investment Analyst at RVAM, Priyanka brings keen market insights, enthusiastic idea generation and meticulous analytical skills to the RVAM investment team. Her work experience includes coverage of multiple sectors such as travel, sports and ESG among others.
Priyanka has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from Mumbai University and a Financial Risk Manager qualification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA. She is also a CFA charter holder. She is a Singapore permanent resident.

Jash Punjabi
Investment AnalystJash graduated in 2024 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, with a Bachelor of Social Science in Economics degree. He joined RVAM as an Investment Research Analyst after graduation.
His academic journey gave him a keen understanding of financial modelling, company valuation and portfolio management. His internships gave him insights into investment research as well as the impact of global macroeconomic events on market outcomes. Beyond professional pursuits, he spends time studying financial markets and building his personal investment portfolio.
He successfully completed summer internships at RVAM and Centennial Asia Advisors in Singapore and also did outstanding work as Project Lead with Greenpeace International in Amsterdam as part of the Global Research and Consulting Group at NTU.

Vidya Vasania
Chief Operating OfficerVidya has in depth experience in a number of areas that have helped her develop an ideal skill set for her role as Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer since July 2012, Vidya has fulfilled all River Valley Asset Management’s regulatory, statutory, legal and operational obligations during this time in a timely and efficient manner.
Her initial years in investment banking with the joint venture of JP Morgan and ICICI in India (July 1994-May 1998) and her later CFA qualification (2005-2007) have given her a deep understanding of deal structuring, valuation, accounting, ethics and compliance. As part of the sales and marketing team for a large software solutions company in Singapore (September 1998-February 2005), she was responsible for putting together and presenting client pitches and coordinating project execution; this gave her an excellent understanding of operations, project management, budgeting and contingency management. As a partner of the event management company Phi Events (May 2008-April 2014), she helped organize India-centric art, theatre and corporate events in Singapore. As the CFO of the company, she gained an understanding of accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
Vidya is an engineer from VJTI Mumbai (1992) and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. She is a Singapore citizen.
